Planet-ta-kun’s Observations of New Japan
In this column, our original company character ‘Planet-ta-kun’ will travel to tourist spots in Japan that are popular with overseas visitors and will introduce some topics related to the charms and inbound expenditure of these places.
In this issue’s column, we will take a look at the popular inbound tourist spot, Mt. Fuji. There are many overseas tourists with the image that ‘Mt. Fuji equals Japan’ and since Mt. Fuji was registered as World Heritage Site in June 2013, it has grown steadily more popular as a tourist destination. Therefore, we will introduce Mr. Takeuchi, the managing director of Takeuchi Corporaion which is using our Planet Service and we will report on the charms of Mt. Fuji!

Originally, purifying oneself here before ascending Mt. Fuji was a custom. You can also drink sacred water here.

The area is overflowing with Mt. Fuji’s delicious underground water. Therefore, there are also many paper manufacturers.

Japan Rail Pass
This is a pass offered in collaboration with the six JR companies (it can only be purchased by tourists outside of Japan for the purpose of visiting Japan). A 7-day regular adult pass is 29,110 yen (as of September 2015)
